Sunday 29th September 2013 at 3pm
Rathgar Methodist church, Brighton Road, Dublin 6

with an exciting Italian themed concert by Romolo Balzani (flute), David Adams (harpiscord), with William Dowdall (flute). This is a rare and special opportunity to hear the reknowned Italian flute player, Romolo Balzani. The programme will include music from the Italian masters, some of them not as well known here as they should be, such as Marcello, Sciarrino, Vinci, and Pertrassi as well as Vivaldi. The concert is generously supported by the Italian Cultural Institute.

Tickets available from www.tickets.ie
Tickets are €15 (€10 concessions), children under 12 go free

Music @ Brighton Road aims to reach a wide audience by giving classical music recitals in a relaxed and conveniently located setting outside the city centre. Musicians speak briefly about each work before it is played. Tea, coffee and refreshments provided by the Corner Bakery, Terenure are available during the interval, and parking in Brighton Road is free on Sundays. Follow us on Facebook at Music @ Brighton Road

You are invited to an ideas generation workshop on the night of

Thursday 19th September 2013 (7.30pm – 10.30pm)

The purpose of this evening is to get your inputs and ideas in to a Framework and Plan for Terenure District and Community.

How the evening will be run is important. To facilitate creative thinking, storytelling and participation we will use round tables, facilitated groups, creativity techniques, video input etc. There will be every opportunity to have your say in a possible future.

This project is a collaboration of residents' associations, local businesses and local people. It has no political affiliation, Government or Council remit.
