Music at Brighton Road's 2013 Autumn series of Sunday afternoon concerts will commence on:
Sunday 29th September 2013 at 3pm
Rathgar Methodist church, Brighton Road, Dublin 6
with an exciting Italian themed concert by
Romolo Balzani (flute), David Adams (harpiscord), with William Dowdall (flute). This is a rare and special opportunity to hear the reknowned Italian flute player, Romolo Balzani.
The programme will include music from the Italian masters, some of them not as well known here as they should be, such as Marcello, Sciarrino, Vinci, and Pertrassi as well as Vivaldi.
The concert is generously supported by the Italian Cultural Institute.
