Free Electrical Recycling in Terenure, Saturday 31 May
The WEEE Ireland free electrical recycling will be available at Terenure car park tomorrow, Saturday, from 10am - 4pm. Any household item with a plug or battery will be accepted.

Sunday road closures due to Terenure 5 Mile Run
The 30th Terenure 5 mile run will take place from 11.00 this Sunday, 18 May. Watch out for road closures and restricted access along Templeogue Road, Terenure Road West, Fortfield Road, Wainsfort Road and Templeville Road from 10.30.
We wish the 2,000 runners the very best and encourage everyone to support this worthwhile fundraising event for DEBRA Ireland, supporting those suffering from epidermolysis bullosa.

Open Day at Evergreen Hall, 17th May 2014
Evergreen Hall Open Day will be held on Saturday 17th May from 11am - 3.30pm.Attractions include art and photo exhibitions, music and refreshments.
This is an open invitation to the residents of Terenure and surrounding areas. Be sure to come along and support this initiative organised by one of the Terenure2030 project groups.

The Evergreen Hall is a local club which aims to provide facilities and services for our community members over the age of 50. The hall is located behind the Terenure Health Centre at Terenure Road North.

We would like to thank all those who took the time and trouble to enter our recent photo competition and we are pleased to announce the results.
The committee members each voted for their choice from the entries received, and the first, second and third placed results for the adult competition are shown below. Unfortunately we had no entries in our under 16 competition so only the adult competition prize was awarded.

Rathfarnham Parish Fete, 2014
Rathfarnham Parish Fete will take place on Saturday 24th May at the High School, Zion Road, Rathgar.
Come along for great food, gifts, toys, games, books, a bouncy castle, accessories and much more!
Raffle tickets are only €2 each!

You can bring your donations of goods to War Memorial Hall, Rathfarnham Road, Terenure between 7pm and 9pm from Monday 19th to Thursday 22nd May.

WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is anything that has a plug or a battery and is at the end of its useful life.
WEEE Ireland organises and promotes public collection events of WEEE and waste batteries in areas which do not have convenient access to civic amenity sites.
Any household item with a plug or battery will be accepted at these collection events – from large items such as fridges, dishwashers and tumble dryers, to small household items such as remote controls, electric toothbrushes and everything in between.
All waste batteries will be accepted free of charge, including AA and AAA batteries, torch batteries, watch batteries, car batteries and electric fence batteries.
Forthcoming collections days include:
