Music at Brighton Road's 2013 Autumn series of Sunday afternoon concerts will continue on:

with an exciting concert of jazz for guitar and flute by
Brian Dunning (flute)
and
Sean Whelan (guitar)
The programme will include a varied and original mix of latin jazz, world music and orignal jazz tunes from influences as diverse as Chick Corea and Antonio Carlos Jobim ('The girl from Ipanema').
Brian Dunning has explored and overlapped the boundariees between jazz and celtic music all his life. He has played with all the greats over his 30 year career, from Van Morrison to Nigel Kennedy, the Chieftains and James Galway, as a solo artist and as leader of the band, Puck Fair. He is also an important composer.
Sean Whelan's experiences and skills range from jazz, celtic music, composition, musical director for Japanese singer/songwriter Kokia as well as farming in West Cork. He has worked with many and varied leading artists at home and abroad.
Music @ Brighton aims to reach a wide audience by giving classical music recitals in a
relaxed and conveniently located setting outside the city centre. Musicians speak briefly about each work before it is played.
Tea, coffee and refreshments provided by the Corner Bakery Terenure are available during the interval, and parking in Brighton Road is free on Sundays.
Tickets are €15 (€10 concessions), children under 12 go free.
