Proposed Cycling "Quiet Way" - Public Meeting

Dublin City Councillor Dr. Paddy Smyth (FG) has proposed a cycling and pedestrian “Quietway” from Donnybrook to Kimmage aimed at prioritising cyclists and pedestrians in a safer environment by avoiding heavily trafficked roads.  The proposed route includes Corrib Road, Ashdale Road and the south side of Brighton Square. More details including a map can be found at the Irish Cycle website here: http://irishcycle.com/2016/03/05/neighborhood-greenway-could-link-kimmage-to-donnybrook/

A feasibility study commissioned by Dublin City Council can be downloaded here (pdf file).

There will be a public meeting organised by local residents in Rathgar who are concerned about possible traffic implications. This will be held at:

Parish Hall, Church of the Three Patrons
Rathgar Road (junction with Leicester Avenue)
on
Tuesday 28 March at 7.30pm
